Is SpicyChat free?
Core chat is free with ads, up to 4,096 tokens of context memory, and access to free models (e.g. Zeta-G4). Memory Manager, larger context, images, TTS and premium models require a paid tier.
Does SpicyChat allow NSFW?
All users must be 18+ and all chatbots must be portrayed as adults. Adult roleplay is permitted; bots with explicit language or imagery must be marked NSFW, and the SFW/NSFW listing is set automatically for the front page. The guidelines list prohibited topics (including minors, non-consent, incest, real people) and ban hardcore or genital imagery and photorealistic images of people. AI-generated Conversation Images have an NSFW Mode toggle (paid tiers only). Users connecting from France, the UK, Italy, Australia and 26 listed US states must pass third-party age verification (video selfie or ID) to access NSFW content.

Prices took effect September 8, 2026; subscribers from before that date keep their old price while the plan stays active and unchanged. EUR prices match USD; GBP is listed separately. Payment options include card, Pay By Bank (one-time, no auto-renew), Boosty, and crypto (CoinPayments). App-store billing is available via the sister SFW app PixelChat on Google Play. Refund policy: fees are non-refundable once login details have been used; no partial-month refunds. Prices checked 2026-10-20.

Things to know
The iOS app was removed from the App Store in August 2025 (per SpicyChat's own notice); iPhone users must use the website. The Android app is an APK downloaded from spicychat.ai, not from Google Play. Bring-your-own OpenAI key support was discontinued on November 17, 2025. Pay By Bank purchases do not auto-renew; refunds are very limited per the Refund Policy.
