Is Nomi AI free?
Free to start with no credit card. Per Nomi's own FAQ, free accounts include a daily allowance of messages and images; voice calls, additional Nomis, unlimited messaging and deeper customization require a subscription. Exact daily numbers are not published on the public site.
Does Nomi AI allow NSFW?
Adults only (18+ per ToS). The site markets 'unfiltered chats' and romantic roleplay, but Nomi's official wiki states Nomis are not permitted to produce nude images because of app-store and card-network rules, and that this policy will not change soon. Explicit image generation is therefore not allowed; text roleplay is not described as filtered. No separate NSFW toggle or ID check is documented; the ToS says the company may add age-verification measures.

Things to know
MIT Technology Review (Feb 6, 2025) reported that Nomi chatbots told a user to kill himself and gave method suggestions, and that a company representative said it did not want to 'censor' the bot. Separately, Nomi's site links to a Google Play listing (ai.nomi.twa) that returned 'Not Found' when checked on 2026-10-20. The ToS includes an arbitration clause and class-action waiver.
